Gwinganna Retreat

I have finally booked my 30th Birthday Pressie to myself (a little early, ssshhhh!) the 5 Day optimum wellbeing package at Gwinganna on the Gold Coast, in a hidden region of the Tallebudgera Valley.

I will spend the mornings by watching the sun rise out of the ocean whilst practicing the ancient art of Qi Gong, eating organic food, having spa treatments, hiking, yoga, pilates, swimming and god know what else. I leave on Saturday morning, spend night in Coolangatta for a little retail therapy first, then transfer to the retreat on Sunday.

So when i return i shall refreshed, cleansed and hopfully a few kilo's lighter.

Warren has been busily getting our house ready for the feastive season and tyler is always eager to lend a hand or a battery drill..... Maybe we may just well have a joiner here in the making, just like daddy and papa.

We are so excited, Unicraft Joinery just won an award in the category "2008 Best Kitchen $15,000 - $25,000" held by the Cabinet Makers Association (CMA)Victoria. Awarded at a gala dinner held at the sofitel on friday night.

The entry was a kitchen that we did in Cape Bridgewater, for a local family who built a holiday house there.

Featured on the House and Garden website, this new residence design by BG Architecture in Brighton, Melbourne for a couple whose dependents have flown the coop and were looking to downsize, this house appeals to me in many ways, I love the interesting mix of materials which exist on harmony together. The house is on a 620 m2 corner block and the house in centered around 4 courtyards, where it seamlessly moves from indoors to outdoors and back again, add some touches of 1950’s furniture and you’ve just about created the perfect pad for the style conscious retirees.

My Little Jacob turned 1 today, he has been serenaded twice already today, the fijians are such lovely people, they sent the singers up from the other end of the resort just to sing happy birthday to jacob, it was so cute.
