Oh So Simple Yet So Stylish

This joinery was done for a job last year in Toorak, the client renovated their home in a quiet court just a stones throw form chapel street. I love the clean lines, and the way in just blends in without making an over the top statement. Of course we didnt do the pool but i just had to add the picture in anyway.
Now if you Google Unicraft Joinery, you will see these stairs, we have seen them in Vogue Living, Anthill Magazine and more recently have been contacted by Better Homes and Gardens about them, I’ve seen emails called amazing stairs with them among other stairs, I’ve read blogs mentioning these stairs. We cant see what all the fuss is about, we’d rather people be taking about our real joinery. Which is why we have started having professional shoots done so we can start sending out pics to magazines to hopefully be published. So just incase your one of the 300 hundred people left in the world hasn’t seen them here they are, and shock horror its actually a different picture the one that has been around the globe.

Mood Board

I has so much fun doing this mood board for the decor8 comp. I had heaps of fab things on etsy that i was wanting to share and some furniture that i love and everthing else just fell into place. A bit of french provincial meets modern. Colours that i wouldn't have chosen in real life, but now wish Jacob's nursery was painted this colour with coordinating wall art and bed linen. Everything a styled baby could need.

Over at The House That A-M Built she posts a new bed for us to pour over every monday (as above), and imagine my surprise when i went there this morning and she has tagged me and four others (The Laurel Hedge, White and Wander, Lily G & Attic Mag) to take part in..., well i actually dont know what it is called but I will post my answers later. Thanks A-M.

Anyway this morning she posted the above bed from chic shack.

So I thought it might e fun to and get bloggers to post pics of their beds, please call your post
MY BED POST and then invite 3 others to do the same. here is mine.

My hubby made me this bed for my wedding present, the first time we slept in it together was our wedding night. As you can see our bedroom is in desperate need of decorating and curtains. So any ideas will be greatly appreciated

I Invite The House That A-M Build, Villa Anna & Absolutely Beautiful Things to share their beds for next week.

Artist Chis Bushe

“Art” the very word terrifies me to the core. I am afraid to commit, what if someone else doesn’t like it? What if I wasted my money? What If what if what if.
I met a very nice lady who told me not to be afraid, and start looking at art a put it in one of two categories, Like it, and don’t like it. So the first pieces that I have seen since that conversation, went into the like it basket.

'Iona, North Beach'

Who needs a butler?

I am just loving butler sinks at the moment, here is a lovely kitchen sink that I could happily do dishes in it all day, then bake a batch of pecan and date cookies.

Imagine my surprise when I clicked on this little beauty in realestate.com.au, for rent in Port Melbourne for a mere $1500 per week and that isn’t a holiday rental.
Just wait until you see what is behind this dainty frontage.

Eames it up

I have just ordered my, well hubby's eames loung chair in cream, to go in our bedroom for the time being and two bertoia stools for my island unit. I won the eames longe chair on an ebay aution and added the stools to the order from his online store at milan direct.

I am also really wanting the eames DCM, I thought that I wanted them in walnut, but have decided that black would be better for two reasons, 1. I want my joiner hubby to make a timber table, and this way i dont have to stress about colour matching timber and 2. Our curtains are black and gold so they would match in that way, oh and i also just got a new leather three seater lounge below, but in black to go in the dining room.

Croissant Anyone?

How utterly refreshing is this table setting? And the centre piece so simple. All items from The White Company London, their web site is amazing they must sell a heap of stuff on the net, due to their styling alone.
